Redwood Materials is seeking a Spares Specialist to support the maintenance team at the Ridgeville, SC location. You will manage spare parts inventory, execute purchasing transactions, and coordinate rental equipment, ensuring timely parts availability and accurate records in Limble CMMS.

The role requires attention to detail and adherence to purchasing procedures, with collaboration across technicians, engineers, and external vendors to maintain continuity of operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in supply chain, procurement, materials management, or a maintenance trade preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in parts management, purchasing, stores, or a related function; equivalent time as a maintenance technician will be considered.
• Experience with ERP purchasing systems; Oracle experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with a CMMS for work order and inventory management; Limble experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform receiving, stocking, and disbursement of maintenance spare parts and materials; create CMMS work orders for technicians when practical.
• Process purchase orders in ERP (Oracle) for maintenance parts and consumables; track order status and coordinate with vendors.
• Identify suppliers for parts when standard vendors are unavailable; present options for approval.
• Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate on-hand records in Limble CMMS.
• Coordinate rental equipment scheduling, pickup, return, inspections, and repair arrangements.
• Report vendor performance concerns to GSM and flag budget variances; keep technicians informed.
• Document outstanding receiving at shift end and create CMMS work orders for the oncoming shift.
