Job summary

York Space Systems is seeking a Technical Project Engineer to drive detailed planning across engineering activities at our Greenwood Village, CO headquarters. You will support principal engineers in defining tasks, balancing resources, and delivering multiple customer programs and R&D projects on time.

This on-site role emphasizes risk management, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration with program managers, customers, and suppliers to ensure successful spacecraft system

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering.
• 3+ years in project engineering, systems engineering, or program management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive engineering schedules for customer programs and R&D.
• Identify risks and ensure programs stay on track from kickoff to delivery.
• Collaborate across engineering, leadership, and operations.
• Define design approaches, research needs, priorities, testing paths, and integration plans.
• Communicate progress with stakeholders and present findings clearly.
• Champion process improvements and strengthen workflows.
