Zusammenfassung

Altitude AI is seeking a Software Engineer to join our on-site team in downtown Salt Lake City. You will design and implement AI-powered workstreams that translate engineering drawings and natural language into PLC and robot programs, while ensuring seamless integration with leading automation systems.

Ideal candidates combine strong Python skills with curiosity in ML/LLMs and data extraction from CAD/PDF sources, and you will collaborate closely with experienced engineers in a fast-paced

Qualifikationen

Proficiency in Python and related libraries.
Strong interest or experience in ML/LLMs and code generation.
Ability to interpret unstructured data from CAD/PDF/CSV sources.
Demonstrated ownership mentality in delivering features end-to-end.
Experience in industrial automation, PLC programming, or robotics is a plus.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Aufgaben

Design and develop AI models that generate PLC and robot programs from drawings and natural language.
Integrate software with industrial automation systems such as Studio 5000, TIA Portal, and Roboguide.
Improve data extraction from drawings for automation tasks.
Develop internal tools and infrastructure to test and deploy AI-generated automation logic.
Lead interfaces for collaboration between engineers and AI to enhance precision and adaptability.
