Job summary

Mobile Communications America, Inc. is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Specialist in the Fayetteville, NC area to support our Voice division. The position involves unpacking and routing shipments, operating material handling equipment, maintaining inventory, and coordinating with shippers.

Travel to suppliers may be required. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 2 years in shipping/receiving, and proficiency with MS Office (Word/Excel).

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Shipping and Receiving.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, such as Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Unpacking, examining, and routing incoming shipments; reject damaged items; record shortages; correspond with shippers to rectify damages and shortages.
• Operate lift trucks, forklifts, scissor lifts, or hand trucks to move materials to proper departments or areas.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Perform all computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods.
• Support shipment of goods produced and received goods and supplies for production/storage for sales to customers.
• Maintain adequate supply of shipping materials.
• Resolve material needs and inventory control issues as they arise.
• Update computer-generated inventories and documents.
• Facilitate fulfillment orders by gathering materials or inventory.
• Make pickups and deliveries to suppliers for parts and raw materials using a company van.
