Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group's Medeco Security Locks in Salem, VA is seeking a Shipping Clerk to help ensure timely and accurate shipment of products to customers via UPS, truck lines, or other methods. This on-site role is in the Operations department and operates on the 1st shift.

You will receive products, organize the shipping area, train teammates, support 5S and safety, and handle overtime as needed to maintain on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn shipping software.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming product for shipment and ensure timely and accurate dispatch.
• Organize shipping area and stay aligned with changing needs.
• Train teammates and act as liaison for shipping questions.
• Work overtime as needed to maintain on-time delivery.
• Maintain 5S and support safety improvements.
• Perform additional duties to ensure smooth product flow.
