APPLIED OPTOELECTRONICS INC. is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to join our Sugar Land, TX site. This role supports our shipping and inventory teams, ensuring accurate material flow, timely shipments, and compliant paperwork.

You will handle carrier shipments, returns, and internal requests; maintain logs, prepare export declarations, and contribute to process improvements. A High School diploma and 1–2 years in warehouse/shipment are expected; bilingual English/Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
• 1–2 years of warehouse shipment and inventory experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Bilingual English/Mandarin preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain material flow and handling of all shipments from carrier and vendors.
• Process internal and external shipping requests, customer returns and ordering deliveries.
• Ensure material flow processes comply with operation standards.
• Maintain logs and reports of inventory and record keeping.
• Completing exporting shipper's declaration and relevant paperwork.
