Job summary

International Flavors and Fragrances (IFF) seeks a sensory research professional for on-site work in New Jersey. Based in South Brunswick or Union Beach, you will manage descriptive sensory and consumer panels, coordinate testing, and ensure data quality across projects.

You will collaborate with C&D and PX teams, drive study execution, and maintain documentation and databases. Travel 1 day per week between NJ locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in a scientific field required.
• Experience in a laboratory environment, sensory lab preferred.
• Knowledge of sensory evaluation methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead descriptive sensory and consumer panels, including recruitment, scheduling, and training.
• Plan and oversee sensory panel activities and prioritize timelines.
• Lead sensory evaluations per quality standards and support methodology selection.
• Collaborate with C&D and PX Researchers to align testing objectives and feedback.
• Ensure product readiness and coordinate testing protocols.
• Analyze sensory data, generate reports, and maintain study docs.
• Coordinate consumer studies with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain sensory databases and SOPs; support continuous improvement.
• Coach Panel Assistants and build sensory capability across the org.
