Job summary

Gilbane Building seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead on-site execution of large or complex construction projects in Ohio. You will direct overall project direction, completion, and financial outcomes while coordinating with the client and subcontractors on site.

Travel to the office for trainings and meetings is occasional. You will build high-performing teams, manage safety programs, controls, and schedule with CPM methods, and ensure quality and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• Strong technical and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develops project safety plan and provides jobsite leadership.
• Manages project controls and procedures for complex requirements.
• Oversees project financial forecast, notice provisions, and billings.
• Creates and manages a project-specific quality plan and closeout plan.
• Leads subcontracting strategy and buyout process.
• Drives CPM schedule development and mitigation planning.
• Mentors project team and fosters inclusive environment.
• Collaborates with business development for client relations.
