Job summary

Hydrogen Group is seeking an experienced Senior Facilities & Pipeline Engineer for a 6-12 month contract in Houston, TX. This hands-on role supports the safe, reliable operation of midstream facilities and pipeline infrastructure, delivering practical engineering solutions for complex operational challenges.

The ideal candidate has extensive midstream experience in natural gas, crude oil or NGL systems, with hands-on design and sustaining engineering responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Petroleum Engineering or related field required.
• Extensive engineering experience within midstream, pipeline or related energy infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Identify technical issues and develop engineering solutions for compression, pumping, storage, pipeline and associated facilities.
• Provide engineering expertise supporting the transportation of natural gas, crude oil and/or NGLs.
• Support the design and modification of compressor stations, pump stations, terminals, process facilities and associated pipeline infrastructure.
• Evaluate the feasibility of new technologies and processes for pipeline transportation and storage applications.
• Develop technical scopes for facility upgrades, expansions and improvement projects.
• Prepare and review project cost estimates and support economic evaluations.
