The successful candidate will excel in leadership, communication, and cost analysis, and will drive bid strategy, risk assessment, and teamwork across departments to deliver accurate, competitive proposals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial construction estimating.
• Demonstrated experience leading estimating activities and bid teams.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, labor, and pricing.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, specs, and bid documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead the complete estimating and preconstruction process from pursuit to turnover.
• Review drawings, specs, contracts, scopes of work and bid documents.
• Develop conceptual budgets, detailed estimates, cost analyses, and bid packages.
• Create bidding strategies based on scope, market conditions, schedule and competition.
• Coordinate estimates and deadlines across multiple bids and teams.
• Mentor junior estimators and preconstruction staff.
• Communicate risks, assumptions, and opportunities to leadership.
