Job summary

EBARA is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment at customer sites or service centers. You will read schematics, perform preventive maintenance, and clearly document service activities while ensuring customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work with customers, and adherence to safety policies. A high school or electronics degree with 4–6 years of related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in semiconductor industry preferred.
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical schematics and diagrams.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Pass annual respirator fit test and medical exam if required.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment at customer sites.
• Interpret operation manuals to identify root causes of tool failures.
• Document preventive maintenance, downtime, and service reports.
• Order parts and coordinate replacement with customers or management.
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or support teams.
