Job summary

TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc. seeks a Security Systems Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of integrated physical security systems across our operations.

The role oversees the full lifecycle from architecture to maintenance, partnering with security, IT, and facilities teams. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including tuition assistance, 401(k), medical/dental/vision coverage, vacation, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Systems, or related field) or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in security systems engineering, low-voltage design, or electronic security systems.
• Hands-on experience with access control platforms (Lenel, Genetec, CCure, AMAG), Video management systems, and intrusion detection.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (IP, PoE, VLANs, system integration).
• Working knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, and applicable codes.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer integrated physical security systems across facilities.
• Develop system architecture, device layouts, and network integration plans.
• Ensure systems are scalable, resilient, and compliant with enterprise risk requirements.
• Lead root cause analysis for system failures and incidents.
• Provide technical input for capital planning and budgeting.
