Amentum is seeking a Guard I to protect property and personnel, observe and report security incidents, and intervene only when necessary. The role involves fixed posts, foot or vehicle rounds, and occasional escort duties on a range of environments from office to outdoor sites.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, be a US citizen or permanent resident, and be able to obtain security clearances; weekend and holiday work is required, with training and safety responsibilities

Formación

• Must be able to work weekends & holidays.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any company/government required qualification, certification, licensing, or security clearance.
• Must have valid state driver’s license.
• Must be able to work any assigned shift or schedule.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Must know proper safety procedures concerning fuel leaks and other hazardous materials.
• Must be a US Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident.

Responsabilidades

• Carries out detailed instructions and procedures primarily oriented to ensure that emergencies and security violations are readily discovered and reported to the appropriate authority.
• Serves at a fixed post, making rounds on foot or by motor vehicle, or escorting persons or property.
• May be deputized to make arrests and may help visitors and customers by answering questions and giving directions.
• May be required to demonstrate proficiency in the use of firearms and other special weapons and continuing physical fitness.
• Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
• Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands: Lift/push/pull minimum of fifty (50) pounds.
• Distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth.
• Working environment will be both office and outdoor settings which individual can be exposed to extreme weather conditions for extended periods.
• Ability to operate flight line vehicle.
• Good written communication and phone skills.
• One (1) year experience in Security is preferred.
