Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Electronics Technician in Washington, DC to support a DoD program. The role focuses on designing, integrating, operating, and maintaining electronic security systems on-site.

You will install, test, and troubleshoot hardware and software, and work with CCURE/AMAG/Lenel certifications where applicable. The position requires active Secret clearance and strong organizational skills, with 5+ years in security systems and on-site maintenance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of security systems experience and electronics installation or maintenance.
• Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
• Experience with CCURE, AMAG, or Lenel (Certifications preferred).
• Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills are a plus.
• Active Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of electronic systems.
• Conduct site surveys, configure hardware/software, and test systems for proper operation.
• Install raceways, cabling, equipment racks, enclosures, and panels per industry standards.
• Terminate, test, and configure electronic devices, network, and IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot copper and fiber optic issues and programmable components.
