Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an Occupational Therapist to supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants in a school-based contract near Claremont, NH. The on-site role supports COTAs and students, with flexible part-time or full-time options and IRS mileage reimbursements.

The OT must hold NH license, have prior school-based supervision experience, and bring strong documentation and communication skills to collaborate with district staff and administration.

Qualifications

• Active, valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in New Hampshire.
• Experience supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants.
• Prior school-based OT background with understanding of special education service delivery.
• Excellent documentation, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise up to two assigned COTAs, ensuring compliance with state and district guidelines.
• Provide approximately 7 hours of direct supervision per COTA per month, conducted on-site within public school settings.
• Complete all required documentation and supervision notes accurately and promptly.
• Communicate and collaborate with COTAs, district staff, and administration to support best practices.
• Participate in regular team meetings and professional dialogue to ensure quality services.
• Maintain compliance with all rules and regulations pertaining to occupational therapy practices in schools.
