Job summary

Onward Education is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist to support elementary students (K–5) in Cheshire County, NH for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time, onsite role works with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to build fine motor, sensory, self-regulation, and adaptive skills in the school setting.

The OT will conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and participate in IEP meetings while ensuring compliant documentation and progress toward

Qualifications

• Active NH OT license required.
• Experience in school-based or pediatric OT preferred.
• Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and service delivery in schools.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services aligned with students' IEP goals and educational needs.
• Conduct evaluations, reevaluations, and assessments to identify functional and educational needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support student participation and success.
• Support students in fine motor, sensory processing, self-regulation, visual motor, and adaptive functioning.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, special education staff, and related service providers.
• Recommend adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and classroom strategies as appropriate.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions to meet IEP goals.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal requirements.

Qualifications:
