Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide on-site services in a school district near Los Alamos, NM. The role supports students' growth within an educational setting, with options for full-time or part-time engagement across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate holds a NM OT license, with experience in school-based settings and a solid understanding of IEPs and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid and current Occupational Therapist license in New Mexico.
• Prior experience in school-based settings preferred.
• Strong understanding of IEPs and compliance requirements.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between multiple sites within the district.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills.
• Ability to begin as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students onsite in accordance with IEP goals.
• Perform comprehensive evaluations and create individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and additional support staff to promote student success.
• Document progress, maintain records, and participate in meetings as needed.
• Adapt to the needs of a diverse student population in multiple locations, ensuring quality service across the district.
