Job summary

Democracy Prep Public Schools is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a school operations team and ensure smooth, proactive operations aligned with our mission of preparing scholars for college success and civic engagement.

You will design procedures with School Leader and DOO, manage daily operations, and build partnerships with families and the community to advance a respectful, data-informed school environment.

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to education equity and Democracy Prep mission.
• Experience managing a team of two or more or readiness to transition into management.
• Ability to research, analyze data, and communicate findings to build systems.
• Proven project management skills from idea to detailed plan considering stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational skills with daily prioritization and planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead a school operations team to support high-quality education.
• Design and maintain day-to-day school operations procedures.
• Build partnerships with stakeholders in school, community, and network.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and non-instructional statutes.
• Monitor and improve data accuracy in state databases and internal systems.
• Manage procurement, inventory, and event planning budgets.
• Coordinate meal service logistics and external vendor relations.
