Job summary

BrandSafway is seeking a dependable Scaffold Helper to support Scaffold Carpenters and Leadman in the erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffold systems on industrial construction projects.

The role requires willingness to learn, teamwork, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive job site in an on-site environment in Orange, TX.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical skills required.
• 6+ months of industry experience preferred.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Commitment to safety and following procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist Scaffold Carpenters and the Scaffold Leadman with erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffold systems.
• Load, unload, transport, and organize scaffold materials, tools, and equipment.
• Hand materials and tools to scaffold builders during assembly and dismantling.
• Clean and prepare work areas to support scaffold construction activities.
• Inspect scaffold components for visible damage and report defective materials.
• Maintain scaffold inventory and organize materials for efficient use.
• Follow directions from the Scaffold Leadman and Scaffold Carpenters to complete tasks safely.
