Job summary

Shirley Parsons is seeking an experienced Site Safety Representative to provide hands-on safety leadership for an active construction project in Raleigh, NC. The role partners with project leadership, field personnel, and subcontractors to promote a strong safety culture and regulatory compliance.

The candidate will manage orientations, training, JHA development, toolbox talks, and safety documentation while maintaining OSHA 300 logs and safety boards.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Safety Representative or similar role on construction sites.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction safety regulations.
• Experience managing orientations, training, JHAs, toolbox talks, and safety documentation.
• Knowledge of fall protection, LOTO, heavy equipment hazards.
• Ability to coordinate with project leadership and subcontractors.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-site safety orientation program with training records.
• Administer site safety training including fall protection and LOTO.
• Oversee Job Hazard Analysis program and documentation.
• Lead weekly toolbox talk program and document results.
• Maintain jobsite safety board and OSHA postings.
• Notify and coordinate medical response for injuries.
• Investigate incidents with leadership and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain OSHA 300 Log and recordkeeping.
• Serve as Competent Person for Fall Protection.
• Inspect fall protection equipment regularly.
• Maintain safety records and compliance materials.
