Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. seeks a Site Safety and Health Officer to support the Minot Air Force Base, ND. The role focuses on implementing site safety programs, conducting inspections, and enforcing safety directives to protect workers and subcontractors.

Responsibilities include developing APPs/AHA, training staff, and ensuring regulatory compliance with EM 385-1-1 standards on the federally managed project.

Qualifications

• Requires OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety training or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Experience in construction safety inspection and administration is preferred (5+ years).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement site safety programs and develop site-specific APPs & AHA.
• Oversee procurement of safety supplies and training for employees and subs.
• Act as on-site SSHO per EM 385-1-1 standards and enforce safety directives.
• Conduct daily safety and health inspections and investigate incidents; complete required reports.
