Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) TIMET Toronto, OH is seeking a Safety Engineer to maintain safety and health measures and ensure compliance with TIMET Safety and Health Programs.

You will coordinate initiatives, investigate incidents, and develop ongoing processes to support the site's policy. Responsibilities include evaluating plant floor risks, directing risk assessments, performing ergonomic and machine guard assessments, and developing safety programs and training materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety or engineering; Master's preferred; minimum 5 years' experience.
• Safety certification desired.
• Relocation is authorized for this position.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate plant floor activities for unsafe risks and acts.
• Coordinate safety initiatives, projects, corrective actions, and incident investigations.
• Develop and implement Safety and Health programs for the site and training materials.
• Review Daily Risk Notifications and remove hazards.
• Assist EHS Manager to ensure safety beyond compliance.
• Perform ergonomic assessments and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate risk insurer recommendations to completion.
