Job summary

Clark Construction Group, LLC is seeking a Safety Engineer to protect employees, trade partners, and the public on our diverse projects. The role focuses on enforcing safety policy, educating crews, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards.

You will drive safety programs, review crane and other safety plans, collaborate with subcontractors, and develop jobsite training to mitigate hazards across all phases of construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety and health or related discipline.
• Proof of training in crane, fall protection, excavation, scaffolds, and heavy equipment safety.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced construction setting.
• Ability to communicate and influence supervisors, peers, and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Clark safety culture on a project.
• Oversee safety of employees, trade partners, and the public.
• Enforce safety programs and federal, state, local standards.
• Lead review of crane, confined space, and Job Action Analysis safety plans.
• Partner with subcontractors to submit documentation timely.
• Identify exposures and recommend corrective action.
• Develop project specific safety education for jobsite personnel.
• Support safety reviews with OSHA and other authorities.
