Job summary

Clark Construction is seeking a Safety Engineer to ensure the safety of employees, trade partners, and the public on our projects. You will enforce Clark's Safety and Health Policy and applicable federal, state, and local standards on jobsites, developing safe work plans and leading safety education with project supervisors.

You will drive a safety vision across phases, review specialized safety plans, and collaborate with subcontractors to ensure documentation is submitted on time.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of construction safety experience with a degree or equivalent
• Ability to influence supervisors, peers, and external partners
• Proven training in crane safety, fall protection, excavation, scaffolds and heavy equipment

Responsibilities

• Drive the Clark safety culture on the project.
• Oversee safety of employees, trade partners, and the public.
• Enforce corporate and site safety programs and federal/local standards.
• Lead reviews of crane, confined space, and Job Hazard Analysis plans.
• Partner with subcontractors to ensure timely documentation submission.
• Identify exposures and recommend corrective action.
• Develop and implement project-specific safety programs and education.
• Support safety on planning and execution to mitigate hazards.
