Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy highway site development construction.
• Experience with earthwork, grading, road base, and civil construction.
• Proven track record as a Deputy Grading Inspector and quality control.
• Knowledge of roadway construction sequencing and project scheduling.
• Experience with construction management, resources, and materials.
• Familiarity with FDOT procedures is a plus.
• Strong communication and safety commitment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of roadway construction projects, including earthwork, grading, road base, and civil construction.
• Develop and implement project plans and schedules with project managers and engineers.
• Supervise and coordinate work of crews and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards.

• Communicate progress and address concerns with stakeholders.
• Promote a culture of safety on site.
