Job summary

Excelsia Injury Care in Middle River, MD is seeking a Revenue Cycle Specialist I to support our medical billing and collections workflow. You will review accounts receivable, follow up on unpaid claims, and ensure accurate data across all systems, including Artiva, Windows, Outlook, and Microsoft Office.

The role requires at least 1 year of 3rd party billing/AR experience or a medical billing/certification, strong communication, and the ability to work independently while maintaining meticulous

Qualifications

• 1 year of 3rd party billing/AR experience or medical billing certification.
• Typing 50+ WPM and strong computer skills.
• Knowledge of insurance plans, workers’ compensation, and personal injury.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to interact with doctors, attorneys, and patients.

Responsibilities

• Review AR and follow up on unpaid accounts.
• Review accounts in all databases for accuracy.
• Resubmit claims as needed.
• Forward adjustments/corrections to the BSO.
• Assist with billing questions and gather missing information.
• Keep AR pools in Artiva current.
• Complete daily A/R log.
• Communicate with BSO staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
