Qualifications

• Grounding in carpentry fundamentals and tool usage.
• Ability to coordinate a small crew and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Take direction from experienced carpenter and supervisor.
• Move and protect contents without damage.
• Construct containment for dust, dirt and contaminants in working area.
• Perform tasks related to flood-cutting, salvaging and labeling baseboards, cabinets, doors, etc.
• Develop material knowledge for trims, doors, cabinetry.
• Develop proficiency in insulation installation.
• Develop under supervision knowledge of framing, trim, cabinetry installation.
• Learn MSDS protocols for chemicals used during mitigation processes.
• Perform daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections.
• Maintain attention to detail and meet BELFOR standards for safeguarding properties.
• Work nights/weekends as required and travel periodically.
• Report time worked and materials used accurately.
• Attend BELFOR safety training courses as required.
