Job summary

HH Red Stone in Washington, DC is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to support on-site operations at our property. You will perform routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and respond to service requests to keep resident spaces in top condition.

The role requires hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC (if certified), and carpentry, plus the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You will join a high-performing team and participate in an on-call rotation to address emergencies.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of maintenance or trade experience in a residential or commercial setting.
• General knowledge of building systems and repair work.
• HVAC certification a plus but not required.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily work orders, repairs, and service requests in a timely manner.
• Assist with apartment turnovers and make-ready tasks.
• Perform maintenance in plumbing, electrical, HVAC (if certified), carpentry, and general building systems.
• Conduct property inspections and support preventative maintenance programs.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls (on-call rotation required).
• Maintain tools, equipment, and supply inventory.
