Capital Area Pediatrics is seeking detail-oriented individuals to support a records migration internship in Oakton, VA. This temporary, part-time role involves transferring sensitive information between systems with emphasis on accuracy and confidentiality.

Training will be provided, and applicants should be enrolled in a healthcare-related degree program or a recent graduate in gap year. The position is on-site in Oakton, with a Monday–Friday schedule and late August through January support.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a healthcare related degree program strongly preferred.
• Reliable and punctual with high attention to detail.
• Ability to perform repetitive data entry with accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Comfort with confidential information and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately transfer records and information between electronic systems following procedures.
• Review and verify transferred data for accuracy and completeness.
• Perform repetitive data entry while maintaining high accuracy.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient, employee, and company information.
• Comply with HIPAA, privacy, confidentiality, and security requirements.
• Identify and report discrepancies or technical issues to supervisor.
• Meet productivity and quality expectations while ensuring accuracy.
