Qualifications

• 2+ years bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks.
• Experience with AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and vendor bills.
• On-site work in Brooklyn Heights, OH; authorized to work in the U.S.
• Detail-oriented with clean item lists and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Enter and code bills, invoices, deposits, and payments in QuickBooks
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and vendor accounts
• Keep vendor and customer records current
• Maintain a clean item list: one internal item per part, no duplicates
• Enter POs and receipts; flag one-off vs repeat items
• Chase open POs and long-lead items; report dates to the project manager
• Support job costing so material hits the right project
• Prepare simple reports (open AP, open POs, cash, job costs)
• Follow company process. If a process is wrong, improve it — do not skip it
