Job summary

Matrix Service Company seeks a Manager, Quality to plan, direct, and coordinate on-site QC activities in Marcus Hook, PA. You will conduct audits and decide acceptance or rejection of work in process and completed work to ensure compliance with company, owner, and government standards.

Responsibilities include leading the QC team, applying quality tools, and maintaining product and process quality. Strong welding knowledge, industry codes, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• 6+ years related experience in QA/QC management.
• 2+ years’ experience in a leadership or management role.
• Current certification in a discipline specific inspection process preferred.
• Experience in radiographic testing, magnetic particle testing, and liquid penetrant testing desirable.
• Must have extensive field welding knowledge (SAW, SMAW, FCAW).
• Thorough understanding of industry practices, codes and standards.
• Good communications and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate on-site QC activities.
• Conduct internal and external audits to ensure QC compliance.
• Decide acceptance or rejection of work in process and completed work.
• Provide leadership and direction to the QC team.
• Develop functional strategy and participate in global processes.
• Hire, train, evaluate, and manage QC staff.
• Maintain quality standards for products and processes.
• Support safety and corporate core values.
