Job summary

CEG Solutions, a leading national ESCO, seeks a Quality Control Manager to lead on-site quality for energy efficiency construction projects. You will develop and enforce the Quality Control Plan, coordinate testing, and ensure strict compliance with contract plans and specifications.

Based at the Washington, DC client site, you will guide field teams, manage QC reports, oversee ECM implementations, and support project planning, bidding documents, and client satisfaction through rigorous quality

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a QC Manager on operations, maintenance, and repair activities.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a similar field.
• Strong knowledge of all construction disciplines (civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical).
• Experience with building energy systems (HVAC, controls, lighting, central utilities, electrical, and M&P systems).
• Proven QC management, team leadership, problem-solving, and construction management skills.
• Ability to achieve varying degrees of government security clearance(s) to work in the federal space.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site QC Manager at the client location.
• Design, develop, and manage the performance of the Quality Control Plan.
• Provide continuous and comprehensive inspection and oversight of all work to ensure strict compliance with contract plans and specifications.
• Coordinate and schedule all field testing, QA/QC inspections, and material testing performed by third parties.
• Prepare and manage all required QC reports, documentation, and daily inspection reports.
• Ensure all construction activities, materials, and submittals meet or exceed contract specifications and the contractor's standard of excellence.
• Enforce and maintain quality control standards in coordination with field supervision and subcontractors.
• Oversee the implementation of Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs).
• Prepare and manage project schedules, estimates, and bid documents.
• Implement Measurement-Based Monitoring & Verification (M&V), commissioning, and post-implementation O&M protocols.
• Assist in project and business development, from preliminary audit through the design/build phase.
• Manage client relationships to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
