Job summary

Placements24 in Welkom, Free State seeks a meticulous Quality Control Inspector to join our manufacturing client on-site. You will inspect materials, components, and finished goods to ensure conformity with specifications and customer requirements, documenting results and deviations.

You will work with production and engineering to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and uphold rigorous quality standards across the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical quality control knowledge is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years in quality control/QA within manufacturing.
• Proficient with precision measuring tools and inspection techniques.

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, components and finished products to spec.
• Document inspection results and non-conformities accurately.
• Identify defects and initiate corrective actions with relevant teams.
• Collaborate with production to ensure QC procedures are followed.
• Conduct audits of production processes and maintain records.
• Assist in developing QC procedures and maintain a clean inspection area.
