Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Quality Control Inspector for a manufacturing facility in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. You will conduct inspections, verify conformance with ISO/IATF standards, and maintain quality records.

The role requires 2+ years in QC/inspection in automotive/manufacturing, proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and gauges, and the ability to read technical drawings. Safety and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years in Quality Control or Inspection, preferably in automotive/manufacturing.
• Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, gauges.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods to quality standards.
• Use measuring instruments to verify product conformity.
• Identify and document non-conforming products or deviations.
• Collaborate with production to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate quality inspection records and documentation.
• Participate in quality audits and assist with corrective actions.
• Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QC processes.
• Uphold safe working environment by following safety protocols.
