Job summary

Yoh Life Sciences is seeking a QC Laboratory Specialist for a 12-month contract on-site in Hamilton, Montana. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM MST, with a pay rate of $25–$30/hr DOE.

Responsibilities include routine QC testing across Microbiology, Wet Chemistry, or Chromatography, and reporting results per GMP requirements. Qualifications include a BS, lab experience, GMP familiarity, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science is preferred.
• Scientific education with understanding of lab testing concepts and calculations.
• Prior lab experience is preferred.
• GMP experience preferred.
• Microbiology experience preferred for one opening.
• Chromatography or Wet Chemistry lab experience preferred for one opening.
• Fluent English.
• On-site work capability required.
• Shifts may vary based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform sampling and testing according to written methodologies.
• Report accurate, clear, and defensible results.
• Test according to GMP requirements and quality systems.
• Understand principles and method validation for assigned assays.
• Review GMP assay data and communicate findings to manufacturing teams.
• Participate in investigations, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
• Support non-routine testing, studies, and projects.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure validation.
• Escalate issues as appropriate.
• Maintain inspection readiness of the lab.
