Job summary

LanceSoft, Inc. is seeking a QC Specialist for our Hamilton, MT site to support Chemistry and Microbiology labs on a 12‑month contract.

The role emphasizes hands‑on laboratory work, including pipetting, aseptic technique, and adherence to Good Laboratory Practices, with a preference for candidates experienced in HPLC, UPLC, or GC chromatography and in bioburden/endotoxin testing. Entry-level candidates willing to train on basic wet chemistry assays may be considered.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with pipetting, aseptic technique, and Good Laboratory Practices is required.
• Experience with bioburden and endotoxin testing is preferred.
• Entry-level laboratory support candidates may be considered, including those with glassware washing, if willing to train on basic wet chemistry assays.

Job Title: QC Specialist - Chemistry Lab/Microbiology Lab

Location: Hamilton, MT 59840

Duration: 12-month contract

• The site manufactures adjuvants for vaccine products.
• The Quality Control organization consists of two laboratories:
• Chemistry Lab
• Open Positions
• Microbiology Lab QC Operator
• Experience with bioburden and endotoxin testing is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with pipetting, aseptic technique, and Good Laboratory Practices is required.
• HPLC, UPLC, or GC/chromatography experience is the top preference.
• Candidates with wet chemistry assays, spectrophotometer, Karl Fischer titration, or particle size analysis experience are also considered.
• Entry-level laboratory support candidates may be considered, including those with experience such as glassware washing, if they are willing to train on basic wet chemistry assays.

Candidate Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Science degree is great plus.
• The degree does not have to be in a life science field if the candidate has relevant hands-on laboratory experience.
• Candidates with master's or other advanced degrees can be considered and will not be eliminated for being overqualified.
• Relevant hands-on laboratory experience is important, particularly for candidates coming from a different academic background.

Work Schedule & Employment Potential

• Schedule is Monday through Friday.
• There is potential for the positions to convert to FTE in the future.
