Job summary

Alston Construction is seeking a QA/QC Manager to develop, implement, and manage the project quality program for mission-critical data center projects in Jackson, MS. You will enforce quality procedures across trades, drive accountability, and coordinate inspections, testing, and documentation for turnover to the client.

Responsibilities include leading quality meetings, maintaining inspection records, and supporting commissioning activities to ensure system readiness and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years in QA/QC or field construction inspection.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field required.
• Certification in quality management (e.g., CQM-C, ASQ, ICC, ACI) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project-specific QA/QC plans.
• Oversee quality procedures across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, architectural, and civil trades.
• Perform field inspections to verify installation quality and conformance.
• Review submittals and shop drawings for compliance with specs and codes.
• Coordinate third-party inspections and testing (e.g., concrete, welding).
• Track NCRs, deficiency logs, and punchlists through turnover.
• Lead quality-focused meetings and training for field personnel.
