Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Site QA Inspector to support the METC Recapitalization Program at Joint Base San Antonio–Fort Sam Houston. You will provide independent owner-side QA for dormitory facilities and associated infrastructure, collaborating with government stakeholders, designers, and contractors.

You will witness tests, manage inspections, maintain records, and help deliver a landmark campus using progressive design-build methods while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires 10+ years in construction inspection/QC
• Read and interpret drawings and specs
• Perform field observations with PPE
• Maintain accurate records in approved systems
• Ability to obtain unescorted access to JBSA Fort Sam Houston

Responsibilities

• Provide owner-side QA for buildings, modules, utilities, and civil infrastructure.
• Observe work against drawings, specs, inspection plans, and acceptance criteria.
• Witness tests/inspections and verify readiness before concealment.
• Inspect module receipt, alignment, connections, and field interfaces.
• Record daily quantities, photos, test results, and quality observations.
• Identify nonconforming work and verify corrective actions.
• Monitor safety/environmental conditions and support punch lists.
