Job summary

Systems Implementers, Inc. is seeking an Associate QA Engineer to join our on-site team at Hill AFB, Utah. The role focuses on planning, executing, and documenting tests to ensure mission-critical databases and systems meet DoD standards and user needs.

You will collaborate with multiple engineering teams, develop test plans for SQL, Java, and Angular, and ensure compliance with Air Force requirements. On-site work only, with mentorship from experienced engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Experience testing DoD or government systems preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Java EE (Spring) and Angular testing.
• Proficient in SQL databases and data validation.
• Familiar with defect tracking and test management systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Software Engineers to maintain and develop testing platforms (JUnit, Jasmine + Karma).
• Create and execute test plans, cases, and scripts for SQL, Java, and Angular systems.
• Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing manually and with frameworks.
• Validate changes meet requirements and DoD standards and security needs.
• Document results, track defects, and coordinate with developers on issues.
• Ensure DoD cybersecurity and IA policies are followed during testing.
• Provide risk assessments and mitigation recommendations.
• Participate in post-implementation reviews.
