Job summary

Allan Myers is searching for a confident Purchasing Manager to oversee its purchasing functions. The chosen candidate will review supplier selection and contract documents, maintain procurement records, and build strategic relationships with suppliers. This role is fully on-site in Lynchs Corner, Maryland.

Successful applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and have a minimum of five years of experience, preferably in heavy civil construction or asphalt. Strong skills in Microsoft Office and negotiation are vital.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in Heavy Civil Construction and/or Asphalt/Aggregate industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the purchasing function, including supplier selection and contract reviews.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships and long-term pricing arrangements.
• Review performance of suppliers concerning safety, quality, and timeliness.
