Job summary

EPIC Health System Llc is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our clinical team on-site in a primary care setting. The PTA will support mobility and function under supervision, working closely with providers to implement care plans and educate patients throughout the rehabilitation process.

The ideal candidate will have an PTA credential, active state licensure, and experience in outpatient or rehabilitation settings, with strong communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• PTA degree required and state licensure active to practice.
• Experience in outpatient/primary care or rehab settings preferred.
• Strong knowledge of physiology and therapeutic best practices.
• Excellent communication and ability to educate patients and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment components per care plan developed by the PT.
• Instruct and counsel patients and caregivers in prescribed exercises and functional training.
• Identify patient needs with compassion and respect for individual differences.
• Modify treatment plans to ensure progress, safety, and comfort.
• Apply evidence-based practices to restore function and reduce pain.
• Complete thorough and timely documentation to support services.
• Collect and record accurate patient data and outcomes.
• Maintain a safe, professional clinical environment adhering to standards.
• Stay current with professional education and competency requirements.
