Job summary

Anchor Real Estate of Eastern North Carolina is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for our Richlands / Central Jacksonville portfolio. This on-site role manages maintenance coordination, inspections, renewals, and lease compliance, with ownership of the portfolio over time.

This position requires clear documentation, professional communication, and the ability to stay level-headed with upset callers. A North Carolina Real Estate Broker's license must be obtained within one year of hire;

Qualifications

• Must be able to work full-time on-site at the Jacksonville, NC office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• High attention to detail and thorough documentation are essential.
• Ability to stay calm and professional with upset owners or tenants.
• Real estate license required within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for owners and residents; document conversations and decisions in AppFolio.
• Coordinate maintenance with the Maintenance Coordinator and update owners/tenants during repairs.
• Review inspection reports and manage move-in/move-out processes with proper documentation.
• Manage renewals, lease documentation, pricing conversations, and rent-readiness standards.
• Enforce lease terms professionally and direct tenants to the AppFolio portal for requests and payments.
