Job summary

Kittle Property Group, Inc. is seeking a Property Manager to oversee on-site operations for a specific apartment community or self storage property. You will direct staff, manage an annual budget, and maintain occupancy levels in line with budget.

Responsibilities include leasing, compliance and resident relations, with supervision of maintenance and grounds. Strong leadership and MS Office/software skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of experience is required.
• CAM, ARM or similar recommended.
• Language Skills – ability to read, write, speak and interpret rules and procedures and to communicate with staff and residents.
• Math Skills – ability to perform basic arithmetic and interpret graphs.
• Reasoning Skills – ability to apply common sense and solve problems in standardized situations.
• Computer Skills – intermediate experience with MS Office and property management software.
• TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: Annually attend fair housing, section 42 and leasing classes.

Responsibilities

• Direct property operations and staff in the most cost effective manner.
• Develop and manage annual budget.
• Maintain occupancy levels according to budget.
• Hire staff, manage performance and address employee relations issues.
• Supervise rent collection, ledgers and deposits.
• Pursue delinquent rents and evictions and coordinate with collections.
• Direct marketing and leasing activities to maintain occupancy.
• Show apartments to prospective residents.
• Other duties as assigned.
