Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking a Property Manager for Silvercrest Senior Residences in Riverside, CA. This full-time on-site role requires living on-site and managing leasing, maintenance, and resident safety with a strong emphasis on HUD Section 8 compliance.

Salary ranges $24.00-$26.00 per hour plus benefits; you will supervise staff, coordinate with vendors, and respond to emergencies. A valid driver’s license is required for TSA-related duties.

Qualifications

• Must occupy on-site unit and be available for on-call emergencies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with HUD Section 8, MORs and REAC inspections preferred.
• 3–4 years in affordable housing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement property management procedures per operating manual and Salvation Army policies.
• Manage daily/weekly/monthly scheduling of property inspection, maintenance, leasing, and safety tasks.
• Oversee on-site loss prevention, risk management, and maintenance activities.
• Maintain property/resident files and prepare timely reports.
• Communicate regularly with Salvation Army officers and vendors; represent the organization professionally.
