Job summary

Atlas Copco Airpower N.V. is seeking a Project Quality Engineer to lead the execution of project-specific quality requirements.

You will serve as the quality liaison between customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance and timely, high-quality deliveries. You will drive quality performance by managing documentation, reporting, and audits, while identifying risks and implementing mitigation plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, manufacturing, or related field.
• Strong understanding of quality systems, documentation, reporting, and inspection processes.
• Experience interpreting customer specifications and quality requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Ability to travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary quality representative for customer projects, ensuring all quality requirements, specifications, and contractual obligations are met.
• Act as the main point of contact for customer quality communication, reporting, audits, and inspections.
• Monitor project quality performance, track key metrics, and drive resolution of quality issues and nonconformances.
• Partner with suppliers and internal teams to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer expectations.
• Review customer specifications and quality requirements, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation plans.
• Maintain accurate project quality documentation, reports, and records to support successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product quality, reduce defects, and improve on-time delivery performance.
