Job summary

Atlas Copco Holding GmbH is seeking a Project Engineer to serve as the primary technical contact for customers and to guide projects from kickoff through commissioning. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams to meet requirements and ensure exceptional customer experience.

Reporting to the Systems Engineering Manager, the role emphasizes delivering high-quality results, managing scope, and balancing multiple priorities in a hybrid work setting at our Voorheesville, NY site.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in an engineering, project engineering, or customer-facing technical role.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and direct customer engagement.
• Working knowledge of centrifugal compressors and turbomachinery specifications is highly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal communication, teamwork, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A demonstrated track record of achieving goals and delivering results in a customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as the key technical contact for customers throughout the lifecycle of assigned projects.
• Review customer specifications, define and manage the technical scope of supply, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
• Schedule engineering resources, track deliverables, manage scope changes, and provide regular project status updates to support on-time, high-quality project execution.
