Job summary

Barratt Developments plc is seeking a Site Manager or senior on-site professional for projects in Manchester. You will assist the Site Manager to steer site development, ensuring programme, quality and cost targets are met while coordinating the site team and subcontractors.

The role demands experience with construction programmes, strong leadership, and a commitment to NHBC standards and customer service. Hybrid working is offered where role allows.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing on-site construction teams and coordinating trades.
• Knowledge of NHBC requirements and Building Regulations.
• Strong focus on health and safety and customer service excellence.
• Ability to work to programmes, budgets and costs.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager in coordinating trades, labour and materials to meet production programme.
• Attend Sales/Build meetings with the Sales Team; supervise show homes inspections.
• Deputise for the Site Manager when required; ensure on-site team resources and directions.
• Provide clear guidelines, training and development for on-site staff.
• Deliver excellent customer service in line with company guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of health and safety, NHBC and Building Regulations.
