Job summary

Murata Machinery USA is seeking an On-site Project Manager/Assistant Site Manager to lead ME and Commissioning scope for AMHS installation at customer facilities in Phoenix, AZ. The role requires coordinating safety, schedules, and site logistics with customers and contractors.

The ideal candidate holds an AS in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with semiconductor automation experience and is comfortable traveling extensively. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with 3 years semiconductor automation experience or equivalent.
• Bilingual-English and Japanese preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 90% with possible overseas assignments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure installation site safety procedures are followed.
• Own project safety execution, audits, and incident investigations.
• Lead and resolve issues with customers, contractors, and team members.
• Manage project execution: safe, quality, on-time installation and supervision.
• Read project schedules, milestones, and prepare installation plans.
• Coordinate installation resource plans at site to meet project needs.
• Liaise with customers for all installation activities and manage stakeholder communication.
• Manage changes, update installation plans and documentation, and close projects.
