Job summary

Clark Construction Group, LLC is seeking a Project Engineer to manage technical and engineering aspects of a project. You will lead daily coordination among clients, trade partners, engineers, architects, and staff, and be responsible for planning, scheduling, predicting, and managing technical tasks across the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include collaborating with Project Managers on purchasing, preparing submittals, maintaining schedules, and developing project plans.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field.
• 2+ years experience as an engineer or project engineer in construction.
• Knowledge of scheduling, cost engineering, subcontract coordination, and project administration.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Project Managers in purchasing activities including scoping and take-offs
• Prepare and forward submittals; confirm submittal complies with plans/specs
• Support development and updating of the project schedule and subcontractor detail schedules
• Play a lead role in the development of project plans
• Monitor and expedite material deliveries ensuring all deliveries conform with the project schedule
• Review change proposals from trade partners and negotiate as appropriate
