Job summary

Michels Construction, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to help ensure successful project completion, often starting on-site with the crew to ensure they have everything needed for the day. You will document and record entries for the project and plan ahead to set up the crew and project for success.

You will work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents, communicate effectively, and adapt to fast-paced environments. Travel is required; AA/EOE/M/W/Vet/Disability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering, or related field; 2+ years of related construction experience.
• Must possess a valid driver license and an acceptable driving record.
• Travel required.

Responsibilities

• Support all needs to help with successful project completion on a daily basis, often starting on-site with the crew to ensure they have what they need.
• Perform documentation and record entry for the project and plan for the days and weeks ahead to set up the crew and project for success.
• Work closely with and communicate with Project Managers and Superintendents to align on project goals.
